The wife is not obligated to go out to the markets to buy household necessities. The service incumbent upon her—according to those who deem it obligatory—is internal service such as kneading dough, cooking, and sweeping. The husband does not have the right to compel his wife to do so. However, mutual understanding and cooperation between the spouses are advised.
