My husband is scolding me with obscenities; what should I do?

If a husband accuses his wife of adultery, this is haram (forbidden) and one of the major sins. He must repent to Allah. If he does not repent, his wife has the right to refer her case to the Sharia judge so that the hadd (prescribed punishment) may be carried out against him, for Allah Almighty says: "And those who accuse chaste women and then do not produce four witnesses - lash them with eighty lashes and do not accept from them testimony ever, and those are the defiantly disobedient."
