There is no harm in a woman going out with her ex-husband to buy their children's necessities and to discuss their affairs with him, provided that she adheres to the etiquette of Islamic law, such as lowering the gaze, avoiding khalwa (private seclusion), not traveling with him unless accompanied by a mahram, and limiting conversation to what is necessary.
