Is it permissible to name a girl Zina or Badia?

There is no religious impediment to naming a girl Zina or Badia. As long as the name does not contradict a Muslim's creed and the etiquette of Islamic law, there is no objection to using it. However, it is preferable to choose names that express servitude to Allah, or beautiful names as an auspicious sign, and the names of prophets, male companions, and female companions.
