Is one who vocalizes the Qur'an, yet whose linguistic knowledge is scant and who may err in vocalization, sinful?

It is a prerequisite for anyone undertaking the parsing of the Qur'an to be knowledgeable and proficient in Arabic, to understand the meaning of what they intend to parse before doing so, and to observe the requirements of grammatical science. Whoever neglects these matters and speaks about the parsing of the Qur'an without knowledge is sinful and may fall under the warning: "Whoever says something about the Qur'an without knowledge, let him take his seat in Hellfire." The duty is to be cautious about delving into the Book of Allah without knowledge.
