Has religiosity become a modern trend and a means for some female broadcasters to earn a living?

Religious observance is adherence to religion and steadfastness upon it, and it is a religious obligation that Allah has commanded His servants, not merely a "fashion." It is not permissible to accuse someone who observes hijab (definition) or treads the path of righteousness of doing so to earn a livelihood; rather, this is an act to be commended. The reality indicates that immodest display (tabarruj) is a means of earning a livelihood, not righteousness. One must beware of accusing intentions, for their place is the heart, and only Allah knows what is in it.
