What is the ruling on playing Mahibis and Dominoes?

The game of المحيبس (Al-Muhaibis) or dominoes falls under the general category of games. Its permissibility must be assessed according to Islamic legal principles. It is also important to utilize time wisely and not waste it on things that offer no benefit, based on the Almighty's saying: "And it is He who made the night and the day a succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude," and the hadith: "If a man were to drag himself on his face from the day he was born until the day he dies, old and decrepit, in obedience to Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, he would still deem it insignificant on the Day of Resurrection."
