Is it permissible to play dominoes inside the mosque and use it for personal enjoyment after the 'Isha prayer?

A Muslim's life is precious and should not be spent on useless games. Brothers who regularly pray in the mosque should increase their good deeds as a form of gratitude to Allah. This can be done by holding gatherings to listen to stories of the righteous and read the biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him), as this increases their knowledge and reward. Replacing these gatherings with game sessions is exchanging something inferior for something good, which is impermissible. As for the ruling on playing dominoes, please refer to Fatwa No. 39888.
