How does a girl "promote" herself, so to speak, in a halal way?

It is permissible for a woman to offer herself to a righteous man, as a woman offered herself to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. For this reason, Al-Bukhari titled a chapter, "Chapter: A woman offering herself to a righteous man."

It is also permissible for a guardian to offer his female ward to righteous people, just as 'Umar offered his daughter Hafsa to Abu Bakr and 'Uthman. For this reason, Al-Bukhari titled a chapter, "Chapter: A person offering his daughter or sister to people of goodness."

There is no harm in a woman offering herself through secure internet sites, provided they are free from Sharia prohibitions.

It is legislated for a girl to ask trustworthy righteous individuals to search for a suitable husband for her.

Among the greatest means of facilitating marriage are fearing Allah the Almighty, for He says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him from his matter ease," and frequent supplication, for He says: "And your Lord says, 'Call upon Me; I will respond to you.'"
