Is it permissible for a man afflicted with hemorrhoids, from whom liquid is discharged involuntarily, and who prays the obligatory and supererogatory prayers with a single ablution after the time for prayer has begun, to repeat the prayer with his initial ablution after pretending to pray behind an unlettered imam and then intending to pray another congregational prayer? And does intentionally sitting in postures that increase the discharge from hemorrhoids invalidate the ablution, even if those postures are out of necessity? And is he obligated to force himself into specific postures to reduce the discharge from hemorrhoids, or is it sufficient for him to perform ablution after the time for prayer has begun and act naturally, even with his knowledge that some postures increase the discharge? And is there a view that the discharge from hemorrhoids does not invalidate ablution?

Prayer is not valid without intention. If a worshiper finds an unlettered Imam (one who cannot recite properly), they must wait for another congregational prayer, or pray individually. They are not permitted to feign prayer.

A person suffering from incontinence ( سلس ) must promptly perform prayer after ablution. If they delay it without a valid excuse, their ablution becomes invalid. Ablution is invalidated by the protrusion or enlargement of hemorrhoids according to some jurists, but if the protrusion of hemorrhoids is frequent, it then takes the ruling of incontinence.

A person suffering from incontinence must pray at a time when the incontinence stops, if possible. Otherwise, they should perform ablution and pray in their current state. If there is a posture that prevents the protrusion of hemorrhoids, they must adopt it during prayer.

Ablution is not invalidated by the discharge of incontinence during prayer. A person suffering from incontinence may pray more than one obligatory prayer with a single ablution, according to the Hanbalis, as long as the time remains. The Shafi'is, however, are of the opinion that one may only pray a single obligatory prayer with one ablution. The Malikis do not consider ablution invalidated merely by the protrusion of hemorrhoids.
