What is the ruling on skipping Jumu'ah prayer or attending it on an alternating basis when its time conflicts with university lectures and the mosque is far away?

Jumu'ah prayer is obligatory upon the student unless it causes him harm in his studies. If he fears harm, it is permissible for him to be absent from it. And if he does not hear the call (adhan), or if the mosque is far and it is difficult for him to go to it, it is permissible for him to be absent from Jumu'ah prayer.
