What is the ruling on an employee benefiting from holidays granted by companies on some festivals while receiving their full wages without working?

There is no objection to an employee benefiting from the holidays granted to him by his employer, even if they are due to unlawful festivals, because benefiting from the holiday is not considered participation in or endorsement of those festivals. Nor does the fact that it is a gift associated with false festivals prevent one from benefiting from it. Scholars have mentioned the permissibility of accepting a gift from a non-Muslim on their festival day, citing the action of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in accepting a gift on Nawruz. Thus, the festival does not affect the ruling on accepting their gift; its ruling is the same whether on a festival day or otherwise.
