This type of sale is impermissible due to the deception, fraud, and falsehood it entails, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." Informing the buyer of a price that is not the actual one is a deception to wrongfully consume people's wealth, as Allah Almighty says: "And do not consume your property among yourselves wrongfully." Justice necessitates stating the price of the commodity and the delivery fee clearly, for in the hadith: "The two parties to a transaction have the option (of canceling it) as long as they have not parted. If they are truthful and clarify, they will be blessed in their transaction, but if they lie and conceal, the blessing of their transaction will be wiped out."
