Is memorizing two specific Surahs of the Qur'an, in compliance with a Sheikh's command, considered polytheism (shirk) with Allah?

Complying with the shaykh’s command to memorize Surat al-Falaq and Surat al-Nas is not polytheism (shirk); rather, it is an acceptance of advice and a good reception of guidance. It is assumed that scholars choose from the Quran what suits the situation for memorization or interpretation. And whoever memorizes them seeking Allah’s pleasure and accepting the shaykh’s advice has done well.
