Is it permissible to go on Hajj with relatives who insist on committing sins, and is it permissible to go on Hajj with one's paternal uncle?

We congratulate the questioner on her intention and resolve to perform Hajj at this age and in Western countries. Sins incur Allah’s wrath and cause estrangement between the servant and his Lord, leading to the departure of blessings and a bad end. However, Hajj expiates sins, and the pilgrim returns as on the day his mother bore him. A Muslim should seize this opportunity to open a new page, and if he falls into sin after Hajj, he should promptly repent. There is no concession for sin, and repentance from all sins is obligatory, for Hajj and Umrah remove poverty and sins just as a blacksmith's bellows remove impurities from iron. It is permissible to go with her paternal uncle for Hajj, as he is a mahram. If it is an obligatory Hajj, then her going with him is compulsory.
