The answer

The majority of scholars stipulate possession of the sold item before reselling it. Possession varies according to the nature of the item. Some items are possessed by physical seizure, while others, like real estate, are possessed by vacating the premises for the buyer. Customary practice is given consideration in this regard. Accordingly, possession of shares occurs when they are credited to the buyer's account, and there is no objection to selling them thereafter.
