Why is Surah Yaseen called the heart of the Quran, Al-Rahman the bride of the Quran, Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran the two radiant surahs, Al-Ikhlas considered equivalent to one-third of the Quran, and Al-Asr considered sufficient for Muslims if nothing else was revealed?

Other than that, there is no harm in acting upon them as long as it is regarding the virtues of good deeds. The hadith mentioned stating that Ya-Sin is the heart of the Quran is weak, and the hadith indicating that Surah Ar-Rahman is the bride of the Quran is rejected. As for calling Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran ""the two radiant ones,"" it is due to their light, guidance, and great reward. Surah Al-Ikhlas is equivalent to a third of the Quran. Imam Ash-Shafi'i said about Surah Al-'Asr: ""If people were to ponder this surah, it would be sufficient for them,"" because it includes a clarification of the path to success and the path to loss.
