How is the amount of 360,000 to be distributed among a husband, three sons, and three daughters?

If a woman dies leaving behind a husband, three sons, and three daughters, and no other heirs, then the husband receives one-fourth due to the presence of lineal descendants (heirs), based on the Almighty's saying: "But if they have a child, then for you is one fourth of what they leave, after any bequest they [may have] made or debt." The remainder goes to the sons and daughters by way of ta'sib (residuary inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females, based on the Almighty's saying: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females."

Matters of inheritance are complex and intricate, and a mere fatwa is insufficient. Rather, they must be referred to the Sharia courts for consideration and investigation, as there might be other heirs, bequests, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs. Therefore, an estate should not be divided without consulting the Sharia courts.
