How is an inheritance of 1400 Riyals to be divided among a wife, two daughters, and a full brother, knowing that the wife receives one-eighth and the two daughters receive two-thirds?

If the deceased has no heirs other than the wife, two daughters, and a full brother, and there are no debts or legitimate bequests, the estate is divided as follows:

The wife receives one-eighth as a prescribed share due to the presence of a lineal descendant, based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوصُونَ بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ﴾ [An-Nisa': 12] (But if you have a child, then for them [the wives] is one-eighth of what you leave, after any bequest you [may have] made or debt). The two daughters receive two-thirds as a prescribed share, based on the Almighty's saying: ﴿يُوصِيكُمُ اللَّهُ فِي أَوْلَادِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ فَإِنْ كُنَّ نِسَاءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ﴾ [An-Nisa': 11] (Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females. But if there are [only] daughters, two or more, for them is two-thirds of what he left). The remainder goes to the full brother by way of ta'sib (residuary heirship), based on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to their rightful recipients, then whatever remains is for the closest male heir." (Agreed upon).

The estate is divided into 24 shares: the wife receives 3 shares (one-eighth), the two daughters receive 16 shares (two-thirds), with each daughter receiving 8 shares, and the full brother receives the remainder by way of ta'sib, which is 5 shares.

It is advisable to refer matters of inheritance to the Sharia courts, as there may be bequests, debts, or other rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
