A weak (da'if) hadith relates that the day of Eid al-Fitr is called "the Day of Reward (Yawm al-Ja'izah)." Its wording is that the angels call upon Muslims to receive their rewards after their fasting and obedience, and after the Eid prayer, a caller from the heavens announces the forgiveness of their sins. Al-Haythami deemed this hadith weak due to the presence of Jabir al-Ju'fi in its chain of narration, whom people considered weak and abandoned. Al-Albani also deemed it weak.
