What is the ruling on a committed young man who has memorized the Qur'an leading prayers while suffering from masturbation due to sleeping on his stomach, and how can he overcome this habit?

The ruling on masturbation has been previously clarified, and it is equally applicable to all illegitimate methods of expelling semen. As for praying behind someone who does this, the prayer is valid, although it is not befitting for him to lead people in prayer while he persists in this habit, unless there is no other imam available.
