Continue to fight against these whispers and ignore them, for this is the best cure for them. Do not give them any attention, even if Satan makes you believe they are real, for this is part of his cunning. It is permissible for you to adopt the fatwa mentioned, especially since you are afflicted with whispers (waswasa). One who is afflicted with waswasa is allowed to adopt the easiest of opinions due to their need for it, and this is not considered blameworthy pursuit of concessions (tattabu' al-rukhas).
