The answer

The spouses should strengthen the marital relationship and avoid anything that could disturb it, because it is a solemn covenant. If the woman's ' (waiting period) ends within six months after your first or second divorce, she has become irrevocably separated from you with a minor separation, and you must have a new contract, a new dowry, a guardian, and witnesses to take her back. However, if her 'iddah has not ended, such as if she is pregnant and has not yet given birth, or if her menstruation is delayed, she is still considered your wife, and you may take her back without needing a new contract.
