The answer

A man can take back his wife after a revocable divorce (first or second) by words or by intercourse, as long as she is within her waiting period (), even without her consent or the consent of her guardian, or a new dowry. Divorce takes effect even if it occurred during a moment of anger, unless the anger reached a level where awareness and perception were lost. The husband is advised to avoid uttering words of divorce, and it is not permissible for the wife to seek divorce for mere trivial disagreements unless there is a legitimate شرعي excuse, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Any woman who asks her husband for divorce without any strong reason, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her."
