Is the story true that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, married a woman from Bani Ghifar and then divorced her due to a white spot on her flank? And is the husband considered unjust for abandoning his wife because of a minor physical blemish that did not affect pleasure or procreation? And is what occurred between the spouses considered a legitimate consummation that necessitates the waiting period (iddah) and the dowry (mahr), despite the hymen not being broken?

It is permissible for a husband to enjoy his wife after the marriage contract without consummating the marriage, out of consideration for custom. The intimacy that occurred between you takes the ruling of consummation regarding the obligation of the full dowry and the waiting period (iddah (definition)) according to many scholars. The entire dowry and the deferred dowry were your right, and your waiver of it is not to be considered. The hadith (definition) cited by the husband, "He married a woman from Ghifar, and he saw a white spot on her flank," is very weak and not authentic. A defect that can be treated with a simple surgical procedure is not considered a defect that permits the husband to divorce. What your husband did to you was an injustice. Praise Allah in all circumstances, forget what happened, and ask Allah for a righteous husband and offspring.
