Is working in a wedding hall permissible or forbidden?

The ruling on working in wedding halls depends on what is intended by them. If their owners adhere to Islamic Sharia (definition), and there is no forbidden mixing, or forbidden singing and dancing, or alcoholic beverages, then there is no objection to working in them. However, if they violate Sharia, then it is not permissible to work in them, because it would be an aid to sin and aggression, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: ﴿And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.﴾
