The husband should apologize to the wife's father for his previous words against her, and bring his wife back to his home and live with her kindly. What the wife's mother did, cursing, reviling, and preventing her daughter from returning to her husband's home, is not permissible. It is not permissible for the wife to obey her mother in this; rather, she must return to her husband's home.
