The question

What is the ruling of the Sharia regarding a wife's treatment of her husband who committed adultery and then repented, given that she exposed him, informed his children, filed lawsuits against him, accused him of sorcery and witchcraft, threatened him with a trust receipt, and refused to allow him back into their normal marital life?

The answer

You have done well by repenting and feeling remorse for the grave mistake you committed, and we ask Allah to accept your repentance. Your wife should not have investigated you and forced you to confess, nor should you have told her, for it is obligatory to conceal oneself with Allah's concealment and not expose oneself. Likewise, it is not permissible for her to publicize your mistake from which you have repented, especially to your children, and accuse you of magic and sorcery; for that is a great and forbidden injustice, and she must repent from it. And there is a warning against the punishment for those who love to spread indecency, for whoever seeks the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will seek his faults.

She must return the receipt you gave her, and it is not permissible for her to use it as leverage or to seek divorce merely because of a sin you have repented from. Rather, you both should preserve the family for the sake of the children, unless cohabitation becomes impossible. And the mother has more right to the custody of the children until they reach the age of seven, at which point they are given a choice.
