The answer

Obedience to parents and showing them dutifulness are among the most emphasized obligations and greatest rights after the right of Allah. However, obedience to them is in what is good, not in disobedience. Therefore, it is not permissible to obey a parent in working with music or abandoning marriage if one fears falling into temptation. As for not working outside the country, obedience to him is obligatory in that. It is advised to fear Allah, show dutifulness to the parent, and gently invite him [to guidance], so perhaps Allah may guide him.
