The answer

If fasting becomes unbearably difficult, or if the fasting person fears harm to themselves because of it, then it is permissible for them to break their fast, as Allah Almighty says: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity." One should first intend to fast, and then if it becomes difficult for them, they may break their fast, and there is no sin upon them. They should make up for this day after .

As for engaging in sexual intercourse with one's wife while she is menstruating, it is not permissible, and one must repent to Allah Almighty.
