The answer

Whoever delays making up for missed fasts until the next arrives without a valid excuse, must feed one poor person for each day. It is permissible to appoint someone to pay the compensation to the poor in another country if they are not found in one's own country. The compensation is to be paid for feeding, not for helping the poor with construction or marriage. Debts are covered by , not by expiation, unless the person is in need of food and is fed with it. It is permissible to give the expiation to relatives whose maintenance is not obligatory upon you, because charity given to a relative is better.
