The answer

Displaying one's 'awrah (private parts) in front of those for whom it is unlawful to look at is forbidden, whether in or at other times, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Guard your 'awrah except from your wife or what your right hand possesses," and his (peace be upon him) saying: "A man should not look at the 'awrah of another man, nor should a woman look at the 'awrah of another woman." However, if the 'awrah is revealed unintentionally, there is no sin, and the other person must lower their gaze. Fasting is not invalidated in either case, but sins diminish its reward.
