Is it permissible to make sweets in the shape of a shoe (sherbil) for celebrations?

When Allah the Almighty bestows a bounty upon His servant, the servant must reciprocate by honoring that bounty and refraining from trifling with it. Perhaps making sweets in the shape of a shoe contains a form of disrespect towards the bounty, and thus it should be avoided.
