What is the ruling on eating food that has touched pork or was placed with it in the same dish?

Pork is impure because Allah Almighty says: "for indeed, it is a defilement." If the meat is moist or wet, it contaminates any solids it touches. If food is moist or wet, it becomes contaminated upon contact with pork, even if the latter is dry, and it is not permissible to eat it except after purifying it. However, if both are dry, the impurity does not transfer, and there is no harm in eating it.
