Is the husband entitled to compel his wife to perform Umrah on behalf of his deceased father instead of her deceased mother, and is it permissible for her to intend the Umrah for her mother despite her husband compelling her, and will the reward of the Umrah reach her mother through her heartfelt intention?

A woman should not grieve or cry, for she has done good. The reward of the Umrah (definition) went to the person for whom she performed the ihram (definition), not to her mother. The consideration is in her action, not in her wish. Her husband should not have forced her to do what he wanted, and she was not obliged to obey him in that. However, there is much good in her obedience to him to avoid discord. Perhaps Allah will facilitate another journey for her to perform Umrah on behalf of her mother. She should also frequently supplicate for her mother's forgiveness and mercy and give charity on her behalf.
