What must I do to compensate for dressing my infant son in his regular clothes and shoes instead of the ihram garments during Hajj, intentionally and out of fear for him from the cold, while he completed all the pillars, obligations, and Sunnahs of Hajj?

The guardian must ensure the child avoids what an adult avoids of the prohibitions of ihram (definition). If the guardian does not remove sewn garments from the child for fear of the cold, there is no sin upon him, but fidyah (definition) (expiation) becomes obligatory. According to the most preponderant opinions, this fidyah is incumbent upon the guardian, and it offers a choice between fasting for three days, or feeding six poor persons, or sacrificing a sheep.
