What is the ruling on using a stitched medical belt during Tawaf for someone who cannot walk without it?

It is permissible for a pilgrim in the state of ihram (definition) to use a sewn belt during Hajj and Umrah (definition). The scholars' statement, "It is forbidden for a man to wear sewn garments," refers to shirts, trousers, and similar items, not everything that contains stitching. The phrase "wearing sewn garments" was not mentioned by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. When he was asked, "What does the pilgrim wear?" he said: "He does not wear shirts, nor trousers, nor turbans, nor burnooses, nor khuffs," and he did not mention the word "sewn."
