What is the ruling on a woman wearing trousers at home or when going out while wearing an abaya, or in front of women and unmarriageable kin (mahrams) provided the pelvic area is covered by a long shirt?

It is permissible for a woman to wear trousers in her home when she is alone, or in the presence of women and her mahram (definition) relatives, as long as it does not involve imitation of men or of disbelieving women. If she goes out wearing them, she must wear over them a concealing, thick garment that does not reveal anything of her body. The awrah of a woman in front of her mahram relatives is her entire body except for her forearms, feet, neck, and hair.
