It is permissible to use menstruation-delaying pills if they do not harm the woman, and this is ascertained by consulting a specialized doctor. The Permanent Committee for Issuing Fatwas has ruled on the permissibility of using them during Hajj for fear of menstruation, after consulting a specialized doctor to ensure the woman's safety, and likewise in if she wishes to fast with people.
