It is impermissible to be in seclusion with a non- Raqi, and it is impermissible to delve into discussions about sexual matters. The conversation must be appropriate and without a softening of the voice, as Allah Almighty says: "Then do not be soft in speech [to men], lest he in whose heart is disease should covet, but speak with appropriate speech." The prohibition against approaching immoralities is more emphatic than merely prohibiting their commission; it encompasses the prohibition of their مقدمات (preliminaries) and the means that lead to them.
