The question

What is the treatment for my sister who suffers from chest tightness, a desire for solitude, and lethargy regarding worship, and despite legal ruqyah and intensive treatment with the Quran and hijama, she has not been cured and is still possessed by a jinn and experiences fainting spells and shortness of breath? And is it possible that the reason no suitors are coming to the house is the presence of a "hijab" (a spiritual barrier) that prevents it?

The answer

We advise patience and persistence in performing شرعية (Islamic exorcism/healing), along with frequent supplication and the prescribed invocations for protection in the home, with presence of heart. Also, consistently use means of protection from devils and enemies. Give the patient Zamzam water and natural honey after reciting whatever is easy from the Quran over it. Give charity and seek out times when prayers are answered, such as the last part of the night, the hour of Jumu'ah (Friday), and after the obligatory prayers. Recite: "I ask Allah the Almighty, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to cure you and grant you well-being" seven times every day. And stay away from sins.
