What is the ruling on saying: "O Allah, bless Muhammad, the medicine of hearts and their cure, the health of bodies and their healing, and the light of eyes and their illumination"?

The formula of invoking blessings upon the Prophet, "O Allah, bless our Prophet Muhammad, the physician of hearts..." If the intention behind it is that faith in the Prophet or what he brought is a cure and healing, or what happened at his hands during his life from healing, then the meaning is correct. However, if the intention is that the Prophet himself heals after his death, then this is shirk (definition) (polytheism). And because this formula is ambiguous and capable of bearing a false meaning, it is obligatory to turn away from it. The people of knowledge have issued a fatwa (definition) that it is impermissible, and is considered exaggeration and excessive praise, and that the false meaning within it is shirk that contradicts Tawhid (definition) (monotheism). The best formulas for invoking blessings are the Abrahamic prayers.
