Is it permissible to work in the design and printing of bags and cardboard packaging—such as designs for fish shops, clothing stores, and pharmacies—that carry images indicative of these shops? And if that is unlawful, how can one dispose of the money earned from this work?

Photographic or digital images are among the things that many contemporary scholars permit, and this is the fatwa (definition) that is acted upon. This permission is further emphasized if the image is unclear in its features, or incomplete in a way that life cannot be sustained within it.
