The answer

Civilization is a lofty stage of human development, in which manifestations of scientific, artistic, literary, and social sophistication emerge. As for urbanism (madaniyyah), it is civilization coupled with the expansion of construction, representing the material aspect of civilization. It can be specific if characterized by a particular cultural identity (such as women's clothing), or general if not distinguished by such (such as machines and inventions). As for culture (thaqafah), it is the sum of sciences, knowledge, and arts in which proficiency is sought, varying according to different environments, individuals, capabilities, and religious orientations.
