Is zakat obligatory on the money of a cat and kitten merchant if it reaches the nisab, taking into account his permissibility of this trade?

If selling cats is permissible, then their value is subject to Zakat (definition) if they are prepared for trade, because they are valuable property. Therefore, cats intended for sale are included in trade goods according to those who permit their sale. Their value must be assessed at the end of the Hijri year. If their value reaches the nisab (definition), even by combining it with other Zakat-eligible wealth, their Zakat, which is one-quarter of one-tenth, must be given, as long as the value does not fall below the nisab during the year.
