What is the ruling on cultivating tobacco and the money earned from selling it in Islam?

The cultivation of tobacco is not permissible, nor is its sale or use, for it is forbidden due to its health harms, its foulness, and its lack of benefit. A Muslim must abandon it, stay away from it, and not cultivate or trade in it; for indeed, when Allah prohibits something, He also prohibits its price.
