What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the distribution of a mother's inheritance among her children? And does a brother have the right to seize the gold and real estate and prevent his sister from her rightful share? And what is the way to obtain one's right without severing ties of kinship?

The inheritance of a deceased woman is divided among all her heirs, men and women. It is not permissible, according to Islamic law, to disinherit daughters, as this is an act of the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah). A daughter has the right to demand her share of the inheritance. As for the mother's bequest of gold to one of the children, it is not valid unless the other heirs approve it, due to the : "There is no bequest for an heir, unless the heirs wish it."
