What is the ruling on benefiting from partial compensation from insurance paid by the company, as a gift to help workers, without deduction from salary?

If the questioner is entitled to compensation according to his employment contract, and the insurance company pays it on behalf of his company, then there is no harm in him taking it, whether the insurance is Takaful (Islamic cooperative insurance) or commercial. However, if the compensation is not due to him from his company, then it is permissible to take it from a Takaful insurance company. But if it is a commercial (conventional) insurance company, then he may only take an amount equivalent to the premiums his company paid for him.
