Commercial insurance is prohibited, and it is impermissible to subscribe to it voluntarily. For anyone who has subscribed to it, it is not permissible for him to take from it more than he has contributed. If the amount disbursed to the passengers is within the limit of what the driver subscribed with, then there is no blame upon them for taking it. Otherwise, it is not permissible for them to take it, and they must return it to the insurance company.
