The question

Is it permissible to give the amount of usurious interest acquired from a usurious bank—after getting rid of it with the intention of not seeking reward—as a benevolent loan to female colleagues entangled in debts with interest from credit cards, in order to pay off their debts and prevent them from resorting to other usurious loans, knowing that they possess some luxuries?

The answer

It is not permissible for a Muslim to deposit his money in usurious banks or to take their interest, unless he is compelled to do so, because usury is forbidden and there is a consensus on its prohibition. Allah has warned those who engage in it of war from Him.
